Independent Volume Override
Announcements are always audible. The app temporarily overrides the system's music stream volume to your slider setting for the duration of the speech, and restores it instantly afterward.
Segmented Speed Slider
Controls the speech rate of the currency amount segment independently. Allows you to slow down or speed up the numbers (like "five hundred") while keeping normal sentences at a natural rate.

Download and install the APK. Enable Notification Access and SMS read permissions. The sticky foreground listener begins running silently in the background.
Detection & Regex Parsing
When a transaction SMS or app notification containing a payment amount (e.g. ₹250 or RS 500) arrives, the parser extracts the numbers instantly.
Deduplication Scan
The extracted phrase is compared against our sliding 60-second queue. If it's a duplicate alert from a multi-channel notification, it's ignored; otherwise, it proceeds.
Dynamic Audio Override
The app saves your phone's media volume, overrides it to your preset target, speaks the amount at your custom speed segment, and immediately restores the volume.

Common Questions
Which UPI apps are supported?
The app supports notifications from Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, BHIM, and any bank app that pushes transaction alerts. It also parses standard transaction SMS alerts from all major Indian banks.
Does it need internet access?
No. The app does not request the `android.permission.INTERNET` permission. It runs entirely locally on your phone's processor using the Android Text-to-Speech framework.
How does the independent volume override work?
The foreground service utilizes the `AudioManager` stream API. It records your current volume level before speech begins, boosts the music stream to your configured slider percentage, speaks the payment details, and returns the stream to the original value immediately.
Will Android kill the background service?
The application runs as a persistent Foreground Service with an active notification. To ensure it is never stopped, we guide you to disable battery optimization for the app during the first-run configuration.
